The BMR Golf Classic is a Statewide Promotional Fundraising Golf Event developed by Builders Marketing Resource, Inc. to provide individuals and companies associated with the Building and Real Estate Industry, with a “PGA Tour Like” experience in a fun, competitive, business networking environment. The Tournament is produced annually as a Benefit for the Youth Educational Scholarship ("YES") Fund. The "Yes Fund is a Scholarship Program that is available to graduating High School Seniors who have achieved and maintained a minimum GPA of 3.0, been involved in Community Service and can demonstrate Financial Need. The Program is supported in part by funds generated through sponsors of the BMR Golf Classic and other corporate and individual donors, who want to support and assist deserving young people who face the challenges of obtaining funding for their college education. The single day golfing event is the culmination of Regional Tournaments held throughout the State to determine qualifying entrants and provide promotional exposure and networking opportunities to individuals and businesses directly and indirectly associated with the Building and Real Estate Industry. The State Championship will include a major Sponsor's Product Exibition with Prize Give-A-Way, A “Beat The Pro” event, Final Championship Round, Awards Banquet Ceremony and Silent Auction to benefit the Boys & Girls Club.

         As a marketing firm, Builders Marketing Resource, Inc,. has a longstanding committment to promoting successful business relationships within the Building & Real Estate Industry. It is our belief that the success of any business is directly related to the degree of its involvement and support of local communities. Therefore, BMR, Inc. has established the Youth Education Scholarship Fund as an integral part of the BMR Golf Classic, to provide financial support for deserving students in the form of College Scholarships. The “YES” Fund is a critical extension of BMR’s efforts to integrate the Building & Real Estate Industry with Community Involvement, in supporting the educational aspirations of young people.

         Player Entries in Regional Tournaments as well as the State Championship will consist of a maximum of 144 Players, competing for the coveted BMR Golf Classic Crystal Trophy and over $5,000.00 in Cash & Prizes. The BMR Golf Classic is a rare opportunity for individuals who play Golf and enjoy a healthy, active, outdoor lifestyle, to compete like the pros. Here’s your chance to “Play Like A Pro”, win a Championship Crystal Trophy, Raise money for Student College Scholarships and have Bragging Rights as the Best Golfer(s) in the Building & Real Estate Industry.

         The Tournament is open to all golfers, men and women. Each participant must be directly or indirectly associated with the Building and Real Estate Industry. Residential and Commercial Building Companies, Real Estate Brokers/Agents, Suppliers, Sub-Contractors, Developers, Land Planners, Architects, Engineers, Attorneys, Accountants, Bankers, Mortgage Brokers, Brokers, Title Companies, Insurance Agents, Surveyors, Property Managers, Interior Designers, Landscape Companies, Pool Builders..etc..are eligible to participate. Professional players will not be eligible. Tournament Sponsors may participate. Participants who do not win a Regional Tournament, may enter more than one Tournament.          Individuals and Businesses can register Players on a first-come-first served basis. A maximum of 144 players are eligible to participate. Competing format will be One Round (18 holes), Individual Stroke Play. All Players must have an an established USGA Handicap between 0 - 19. Handicaps will be established and verifed through the GHIN system. Players will be divided into Two (2) Flights. Birdie Flight A: 0-9 Handicap & Par Flight B: 10-19 Handicap. BMR reserves the right to change the Rules & Regulations to accomodate Tournament Play.
